Complete Supplier Guide (PDF Format)

 

This page allows you to view your own contact information.  The organizationís information is then displayed, followed by your contact information.  You can use the links on the left hand side menu to access other MERX pages.

Contact Information Fields

To update your contact information, click the Update button located at the bottom of the View Contact Information page.

Registration Date

Displays the date the contact was registered in the MERX system.

Contact Status

Displays the contactís status in MERX (Active, Cancelled).

Status Date

Displays the date the contactís status was last modified.

Status Modified by

Displays the name of the person who made the modification. Only a Supplier Coordinator or MERX Administrator can make modifications.

User ID

Displays the contactís login User ID, assigned by MERX.

Role

Displays the contactís Role (e.g. Supplier, Supplier Coordinator).

Default Language

Displays the contactís preferred language of communication.

Corporate Title

Displays the contactís business or position title.

Title

Displays the contactís title (e.g. Mr., Ms).

First Name

Displays the contactís First Name.

Initial

Displays the contactís middle Initial.

Last Name

Displays the contactís Last Name.

Address

Displays the street address of the contact.

City

Displays the name of the City where the contact is located.

Country

Displays the name of the Country where the contact is located.

Canadian Residents Only Province and Postal Code

Displays the Province where the organization is located and the postal code.

U.S. Residents Only State and Zip Code

If your organization is located in the U.S., the State and zip code will be displayed.

International Residents Country (Outside of Canada and U.S.)

If your organization is located outside of Canada and the United States, the international postal code will be displayed.

Phone

Displays the contactís business telephone number and if available the extension number, if the contact is located in the United States.

Fax

Displays the contactís fax number, if the contact is located in the United States.

International Phone

Displays the contactís phone number, if applicable, outside Canada and the U.S. Spaces and alphanumeric characters are not allowed, you can only enter numbers and dashes: e.g.: 01-1480-477230.

International Fax

Displays the contactís fax number, if applicable, outside Canada and the U.S. Spaces and alphanumeric characters are not allowed, you can only enter numbers and dashes:  e.g.: 01-1999-466156.

E-mail Address

Displays the contactís personal e-mail address.

Preferred Contact Method

Displays the method by which the contact prefers to receive communications.

How did you hear about MERX

Displays how you heard about MERX. (e.g. Government website or Brochure, Google search, Magazine etc.)

Update Button

Click the Update button if you wish to modify the selected contactís information.

Menu Links

The menu links are located on the left side of the page.

Opportunities

This option gives you access to the Opportunities page, from which you will be able to find and display opportunity notices and manage your opportunity matching profile(s).

My Account Activity

This option allows you to view and search your Opportunity Ordered List, your Order Tracking Report and View online Statements. 

Manage My Account

This option allows all users to access and manage their account information.

Organization Contact List

This option allows the Supplier Coordinator to update or add supplier contacts.

Organization Profile Maintenance

This option allows you to view the organizationís information.

View Own Service Details

This option allows you to view the current MERX Services and privileges that have been granted to your organization as well as the MERX Services you are able to access. Only a Supplier Co-ordinator or a MERX Administrator can grant access to one or more MERX Services.  If a MERX Administrator revokes a MERX Service access, a Supplier Co-ordinator will not be able to reverse the change.

Change Password

This option will allow you to access the Change Password page where you can change your password.  You can only change your password.

Cancel Contact

This option will allow you to cancel yourself. If you are the only active contact in your organization, your organizationís MERX account will also be cancelled. Upon cancellation, you have the option to receive amendments or updates for open opportunities that you have ordered. An open opportunity means that the closing date of the opportunity has not been passed. If you decide to continue to receive amendments, you will be charged all amendment fees. If your organizationís account is being cancelled, and the current method of payment is Bill to Account, you will be required to enter a valid credit card number.
